Hey everyone, has anyone here dealt with swapping out their old tank water heater for a tankless one when living somewhere super hot and bone-dry like the desert areas? Last summer our ancient tank unit finally gave up during a heatwave, and we were stuck with lukewarm showers for days until the repair guy showed up. It got me thinking—maybe going tankless would handle the endless hot water needs better without wasting energy keeping a whole tank hot in 110°F weather.
