Irene is a Toronto-based practicing Dental Hygienist. She is a clinical and theoretical Dental Hygiene instructor at Oxford College, Quality Assurance Assessor and Mentor with the College of Dental Hygienist’s of Ontario, Key Opinion Leader and International Speaker. She has experience in various aspects of dental hygiene practice, working her way through each specialty starting in Peado, Perio, and ultimately finding her passion connecting the effects of the dentition on the body and the importance of proper occlusion.
Exploring site-specific bacteria, the metabolism process, and the negative effect on the caries process. Isolating specific treatment options for high-risk clients and determining best practices for caries risk assessment and management.
